CHELSEA — Authorities are searching for two people who went to Oologah Lake for an outing several days ago.
The Rogers County Sheriff's office says the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Rogers County authorities are looking for 47-year-old Paul Andrew Jones and 56-year-old Carol Ann Crosby, who is presumed to be with Jones.
Officials say Jones launched his boat Sunday afternoon in the Winganon area on the northeast side of the lake. His vehicle and trailer remain on the boat ramp, but his boat hasn't been located.
Sheriff Scott Walton says evidence indicates that Jones intended to leave his home for only a short time.
Walton says Jones' pet dogs, which were left at his home, have been taken to a shelter.
