SMITHVILLE – An Arkansas man is dead after a motorcycle accident on Saturday.
Scott E. Pennington, 43, of Magnolia, Ark. was driving a motorcycle north on U.S. 259 south of Smithville in McCurtain County at noon when the motorcycle veered off the road for an unknown reason and struck a guardrail, ejecting him and a passenger, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Scott Pennington died at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. The passenger, Lisa D. Pennington, 44, of Magnolia, Ark., was treated and released from McCurtain Memorial Hospital, troopers said.
