LINDSAY — State officials are looking for a man in connection with a kidnapping and beating last month in Oklahoma that led to felony charges against him and three others.
Authorities ask anyone who sees Charlie Foster, 25, to call the Garvin County Sheriff's Office at (405) 238-7591 or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at (800) 522-8017. Prosecutors charged Foster and three others with kidnapping and assault and battery with great bodily injury in connection with the March 24 kidnapping and beating of Kelly Bohannon, 38, of Lindsay.
Officials said Foster, John Wayne McKinley, 28, and Jeremy Burk, 34, took Bohannon from his home and beat him inside a car. Near Elmore City, they took him out of the car and beat him before putting him back inside. Bohannon jumped out of the moving car in Carter County as the three men drove on, authorities said.
Investigators said the men beat and kidnapped Bohannon because he had recently broken up with his girlfriend, Pamela Jackson, 44, who loaned the men her car and helped plan the attack. McKinley and Burk were arrested today in Pauls Valley, and Jackson surrendered to authorities this afternoon.
