STILLWATER — Oklahoma State men’s basketball coach Travis Ford is once again dipping into the Louisiana high school talent pool, getting a verbal commitment from Baton Rouge wing Brian Williams, according to an Internet report.

Williams, an athletic 6-foot-5, 190-pound scorer from Glen Oaks High School, committed to OSU Wednesday, according to Rivals.com, which rates him as the No. 116 player in the country. He joins Markel Brown from Alexandria, La., as the first two commitments for OSU’s 2010 class.

Williams said he was attracted to Ford’s fast-paced style of play.

“I love the way they play,” Williams told Rivals. “Oklahoma State made me feel like family. The facilities are A-One, and I’ll have an opportunity to get a lot of playing time.”
