DUNCAN — A Duncan woman died this morning from injuries suffered in a wreck Monday near Duncan in Stephens County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Geraldine S. Martin, 81, was driving a sport utility vehicle east on Terry Road when she started to turn left into a private drive near Comanche Lake road about 5:30 p.m. Monday, troopers said. A westbound car crashed into Martin’s SUV on the crest of the hill where she was turning. Martin died about 8:15 a.m. today at a Duncan hospital, the patrol reported. The car’s driver, Cary R. McCreight, 37, of Comanche was taken to the same hospital in critical condition. Both Martin and McCreight were wearing seat belts, troopers said.
