CALUMET — An El Reno man died this morning at the scene of a one-vehicle wreck west of Calumet in Canadian County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Christopher Black, 23, was a passenger in a westbound pickup on U.S. 270 when it ran off the road and rolled about 3:35 a.m., troopers said. He was thrown about 35 feet from the pickup. The driver, George Anthony Rishel, 41, of Geary, and two other passengers, George Rishel, 21, of Calumet and Anthony Gamboa, 22, of El Reno were not hurt, the patrol reported. The Rishels were wearing seat belts, but Black and Gamboa were not, troopers said.
