KINGFISHER – A 15-year-old girl was in critical condition this evening after a pickup she was driving crashed during a police chase.
Terry Newman of Kingfisher was being pursued by Kingfisher police east of Kingfisher on State Highway 33 at 6:30 p.m. when the pickup left the road, struck a culvert and rolled, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. White was taken to OU Medical Center in critical condition. She was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers said. An error in the OHP report originally listed the victim's name as Terry Newman White.
