Locust Grove man charged with rape of 81-year-old woman

LOCUST GROVE — Prosecutors on Monday filed a rape charge against a Locust Grove man who allegedly lured himself into the residence of an 81-year-old woman and sexually assaulted her, a prosecutor said.

Hank Daniel Clifton Montgomery, 35, of Locust Grove, faces counts of rape by instrumentation, forcible sodomy and robbery, said Becky Gore, Mayes County Assistant District Attorney. He is jailed in lieu of $750,000 bail, she said.
