BETHEL ACRES — A 48-year-old Tecumseh man died Sunday night in a single-vehicle accident southeast of Bethel Acres in Pottawatomie County, authorities said.
Danny Michael Wiens died at the scene on Bethel Road about three-fourths mile south of Hardesty Road, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
About 9:45 p.m., Wiens was driving a pickup south on Bethel Road when the vehicle went off the road’s east side, traveled about 150 yards and crashed into a tree, troopers said.
Wiens was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
