The FBI says a man has been charged in connection with the robberies of two Bank of America branches last month.
Federal prosecutors on Thursday charged Jimmy L. Starks with bank robbery and bank robbery with a dangerous weapon. Authorities say the 29-year-old Oklahoma City resident has been identified as a suspect in both heists.
The FBI says on May 20, an individual entered a Bank of Oklahoma in Del City and gave a demand note to an employee. On May 23, an individual armed with a knife robbed another Bank of America, this one in north Oklahoma City.
The FBI says Starks is in custody on unrelated attempted robbery charges.
