WAURIKA, Okla. (AP) — A woman whose two teenage daughters and their adult cousin died in a house fire was arrested Wednesday on a warrant alleging neglect of a child and endeavoring to manufacture methamphetamine, authorities said.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents took Nichola Michelle Frasier into custody about 2 p.m. at a probation office in Waurika, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.

Frasier made an initial appearance in Jefferson County District Court, Brown said.

Megan LeAnn Frasier, 14, Kalee Michelle Frasier, 12, and Luther Wayne Gregg, 48, died Jan. 5 in a fire at their home in Ringling.

"The endeavouring to manufacture complaint is from evidence found at the scene of the fire, which gave investigators the notion that they were actually trying to manufacture drugs in the home," Brown said.

"Due to the fact that there were children living there, that's what the child neglect complaint is about."

The state Fire Marshal's office ruled the fire was accidental, but prosecutors asked the OSBI and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs for help with the probe.

Brown said investigators don't believe the alleged meth lab caused the blaze.

Gregg was spending the night with the Frasiers, something he did frequently, the girls' grandmother said in January.
