CLAREMORE — The "Cherokee” in Cherokee Data Solutions isn’t just a distinctive name for the Claremore technological contractor.

The ideals of that Indian nation are tightly woven into the meticulous business plan that’s helped make the company a success, said Pamela Huddleston-Bickford, owner and founder of the company as well as a member of the Cherokee Nation.

"I want this to be a legacy company,” she said. "Not just for our family, but for Cherokees that don’t want to leave the state.”
