Some key figures from the Oklahoma-Nebraska football rivalry will be in Lincoln at the end of the week to participate in activities associated with Saturday night's game between the 20th-ranked Sooners and Cornhuskers.

Some 22 major award winners from both schools have been invited to a private dinner Friday night. Among them are Heisman Trophy winners Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier and Eric Crouch of Nebraska and Steve Owens, Billy Sims and Jason White of Oklahoma.

Thirty members of the 1959 Nebraska team also will hold a reunion. That's the team that beat Oklahoma 25-21 to end the Sooners' 74-game conference unbeaten streak.

This year's OU and Nebraska teams square off on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised by ABC (Cox 8).
