Lakers' Pau Gasol out against Thunder; Kobe Bryant misses shootaround in OKC

The Los Angeles Lakers' Pau Gasol, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, will not play tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder or on Wednesday against Houston.

Lakers star Kobe Bryant, the 2008 league MVP, skipped the Lakers' shootaround Tuesday afternoon at the Ford Center, reportedly with flu-like symptoms.

When asked if Bryant would play against the Thunder Tuesday night, Lakers coach Phil Jackson said, "Usually he plays in these type situations."
