Are you tired of the look of your home but unable to spend a ton of money for major updates?

Don’t despair. I’ve listed some of my favorite accessories to help you kick it up a notch during the holidays!

• 1. Your fireplace is a focal point. Make it interesting with a beautiful fire screen. The key is to look for a great design that complements your fireplace.

• 2. Is your iron or metal chandelier boring and unattractive? Add some glam with magnetic crystals. You can select from a number of colors cuts and sizes.

• 3. Change out your old area rug with a more up-to-date version for a totally new look in your space.

• 4. Has your table lamp seen better days? If you love your lamp but you’re tired of the same old look, buy a new shade and a finial for a totally new look.

• 5. Is your dining table dull? Kick it up a notch with a new table runner. Or better yet buy a high-end fabric remnant from your favorite fabric store and hem or Stitch Witch the ends.

• 6. Do your drapes need an update? Hot glue fringe or beads to the sides or buy new tiebacks with wonderful chunky tassels.

• 7. Another way to cozy up your space is with fresh greenery or flowers.

These tips should get you started in the right direction. To hear more tips, go to www.comfrotzoneradio.com.

Now go out and create your own comfort zone!
