BACHE – A 14-year-old McAlester boy was killed when a pickup he was riding in was struck by a tractor-trailer Saturday morning.
Jacob Allen was a passenger in a pickup driven by Charles Allen, 44, of McAlester driving north on Bache Road at U.S. 270 at 7:37 a.m. The truck traveled through a stop sign and was struck by a westbound tractor-trailer driven by Bradley Hutson, 22, of Clayton, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. Jacob Allen was ejected from the truck and died at the scene.
Charles Allen and Hutson were treated and released from an area hospital, troopers said.
Jacob Allen was not wearing a seat belt. Charles Allen and Hutson were wearing seat belts.
