Don't Believe the Rumors: The Metropolitan is Alive

A rumor lurking around town and online is that because The Metropolitan apartment project has been quiet for a few months that maybe it’s not going to happen.
This rumor is false.
I’ve been in contact with John Gilbert with Bomasada in Houston, which is developing the complex, and work is proceeding. Permit applications are under review and a ground breaking is set for April.
The Metropolitan, a 330-unit, $45 million apartment complex will be built at NE 6 and Oklahoma Avenue and will be the largest single housing development announced yet for downtown Oklahoma City.
