Connor Michalek might have been small in stature, but he was big in heart and character.

In 2012, 7-year-old Connor, who suffered from pediatric brain cancer, had his dream come true when he met his favorite WWE wrestler, Daniel Bryan.

This past April, Connor — who went by Connor the Crusher — spent time backstage with the WWE roster, and even a little time in the ring where he took out company Executive Vice President Paul Levesque, also known as Triple H.

The excitement culminated when Connor was able to sit front row at WrestlMania XXX.

But, sadly, Connor died shortly after that.

The folks at WWE created this video to honor Connor, and it’s honestly one of the most touching things I’ve seen the company do yet. I knew they were heavily involved with their community, but this really opened up the waterworks.

And, it put a smile on my face.
