Asking A Favor For A Friend

It’s no secret this was a tough week in the newsroom. One of the most talented folks I’ve been lucky enough to work with is Kyle Roberts, who until Wednesday was in our video department. Last summer he debuted his movie at the DeadCENTER Film Festival, and it was a great family film that delivers as promised – it’s an X-Men kind of movie with the heart of a John Hughes flick.

Starting today (Friday), the movie is playing at AMC Quail Springs. Let’s sell out this movie. Let’s extend its run. It will be cold and rainy this weekend, so it’s good timing to get out with the kids (or without – it’s a really cool movie) and enjoy the work of some of our great local filmmakers.
