Promising Tenant Mix Lining Up for Arts District Garage

No leases are signed - not even letters of intent yet - but I can report the list of potential tenants for the ground floor of the Arts District Garage.
To be clear - we have no "done deals" here. But there's a good chance most if not all of these deals come to fruition. A city health clinic was in the works pretty much from the moment construction started on the garage, which is immediately south of the garage.
The Oklahoma Humanities Council, the Caterbury Choral Society, Oklahoma City Philharmonic and the Oklahoma Youth Foundation, all being displaced by Clayco's development south of where Stage Center stood (Reno Avenue between Hudson and Walker Avenues) were presumed early on to be ideal tenants at Arts District Garage - and Michael Scroggins, spokesman for the Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority, confirms lease negotiations are underway with each non-profit.
Scroggins said discussions also are taking place with Steve Willingham, who is with Elemental Coffee in Midtown, to open a coffee shop for the garage. Again, however, there are no done deals here. But the mix is encouraging - and could provide some much needed vibrancy at street level along Main Street.
