On Monday, March 9th (next week), The Oklahoman will be hosting another Oklahoman VIP tour and visit with developers for subscribers. A lot of readers have expressed interest in the Hotel Marion at 110 NW 10, a 108-year-old gem of a building which was boarded up and on the verge of collapse for more than a quarter century. Renovations are wrapping up, and developers with Midtown Renaissance Group will be hosting a tour of the Marion and the equally impressive Buick Building at 1101 N Broadway across the street. After the tour, subscribers will be led in a question and answer session with the developers, architect Brian Fitzsimons and contractor Stan Lingo. This was an amazing rescue effort, and I guarantee the talk will fascinate those with an interest in downtown and historic preservation.

Broadway/10 Chophouse also is graciously providing complimentary appetizers and drinks during the question and answer session.

So here’s the deal: the VIP event is limited to 25 subscribers and only 10 spots remain open. So if you want to be a part of this cool opportunity and you are a subscriber, email oklahomanevents@opubco.com ASAP.
