Kevin Durant’s fall eyewear collection
Thunder player Kevin Durant and Nike Vision have expanded their eyewear collaboration to include more styles for adults and children.
The inaugural collection featured one adult style and one young adult style. The fall collection includes three styles each for adults and children. What’s more, the eyewear’s color ways will sync to Durant’s latest sneaker, the KD8, which features Nike’s Flyweave technology.
Colors for the new optical collection were inspired by the bright hues that Nike incorporated into KD’s previous shoe and apparel collections.
All eyewear frames feature KD’s logo and signature and are available in several color options. Prices range from $196 to $204 for adults; young adult frames are $138.
Nike Vision also created a keepsake for a few lucky fans. Thirty-five kits, correlating to Durant’s jersey number, feature a leather box complete with KD’s logo and signature. Each kit will contain all three available color ways and will be numbered one to 35. The manufacturer will present kit No. 1 to a lucky winner, via a sweepstakes on the Nike Vision website. Entries will close on Oct. 31. One winner will be randomly selected. No purchase necessary.
Kit No. 35 will be given to Durant. The remaining 33 kits will be available at select retailers. For retailers and to enter the sweepstakes, go to www.nikevision.com/KD15Dealers.
