Bachelors Club of Oklahoma City presents 31 Debutantes

 The 70th annual Bachelor’s Club Christmas Ball was at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. Thirty one young women were introduced as the 2015 debutantes and were escorted by members of the Bachelors Club of Oklahoma City. Before heading to the ball, the debutantes and escorts went to the annual holiday party at Alice and Phil Pippin’s home, along with the club’s past presidents and past Walter Powell alumni award recipients.

 Floral walls at the Club were filled with white hydrangeas and were created by Fleuriste Florist. Platinum (a nod to the 70th anniversary) vases were filled with white roses and hydrangeas. A white satin backdrop on the stage where the debutantes stood was adorned with crystals. After the presentation, guests danced to the music of Souled Out and enjoyed the late night breakfast buffet.

 Presented this year were Liza Anne Cameron, Madeline Diane Colbert, Carly Fornof Collins, Caroline Elisabeth Corley, Lillian Alexandra Crandall, Lindsay Elizabeth Cruse, Haley Mae Dobson, Courtlyn Elizabeth Elkins, Abby Ann Evans, Hannah Lyn Frogge, Katherine Browne Hanstein, Anna Kristina Harlow, Abigail Jane Johnston, Katarina Oceane Kunz, Catherine Elizabeth Lewis, Camryn Nicole McGinnis, Catherine Marie McNeill, Ryan Susan McNitt, Olivia Ann Metzer, Olivia Grace Miller, Suzanne Adele Reeves, Molly Grace Remondino, Natalie Ann Robinson, Caroline Anne Say, Alexandra Grace Segell, Jasmine Tatiana Shoureh, Dana Slone Silver, Rhonda Marie Sutor, Taylor Lynne Trachtenberg, Grace Vose Williams and Kathryn Keegan Wolf.

 John Andrew McCaleb was presented the outstanding Bachelor’s Club alumnus award, The Walter Powell Award is given to a member who has shown loyal support and exemplifies the ideals of the club.

 Proceeds from the Ball go to Children’s Hospital Foundation of Oklahoma, as decided by the Bachelors Club of Oklahoma City, and Carter Hood, the club’s current president.

Bachelor’s Club members promote fine arts, community involvement and social gatherings in the city. In recent years, more than a quarter-million dollars has been raised and donated to local charities.
