Robert Graham launches men’s fragrances
It’s not too early to start thinking about Father’s Day. If someone on your list enjoys fragrance, here’s a gift idea. Fashion house Robert Graham has launched three men’s fragrances that offer more than the expected eau de toilette or eau de parfum. The trio is the result of master perfumers who blended raw ingredients to create blended essences. Think of it as spirits that have to be blended for the perfect richness. Robert Stock, founder of Robert Graham, said he was inspired by the craftsmanship of blended spirits for the brand's first launch of men’s fragrance. “Men are so attached to rare and collectible spirits, they're a part of his life. We created the fragrances and the decanters as something men can relate to – an artful bottle he would want to keep to decorate his desk, study or book shelves,” Stock said. The Italian glass decanters have fabric labels inspired by archived Robert Graham prints. The trio includes: Robert Graham Courage. A smooth top note of classic vodka citron with fresh bergamot and subtle smoky guaiac wood. The Pilote de Course cap was inspired by the original bust created in the 1920s by legendary sculptor Francois Pimienta. Robert Graham Valour. A mix of top notes including clary sage, coffee santos and amber wood. The English bulldog cap wears a hand-painted purple bow tie representing the staunch, steadfast and spirited nature of the bulldog. Robert Graham Fortitude. Deep and rich with a top note of tobacco absolute and secondary notes of patchouli and tonka bean. The horned ram's head cap features green Swarovski crystal eyes and a steam punk gear base. The essences retail for $295 and $125 and are available exclusively at Bloomingdale’s and Robert Graham stores.
