Saucee Sicilian joins Wednesday's downtown Lunchrox
Give your lunchbox the day off Wednesday and enjoy The Oklahoman's Lunchrox listening party, featuring pizza and meatballs from the Saucee Sicilian food truck, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The free lunchtime listening party will include music DJ'd by Oklahoman entertainment writer and local music documentarian Nathan Poppe. Nathan will spin music inspired by the upcoming Norman Music Festival and Oklahoma City's Festival of the Arts. Tables and chairs will be available and there is no fee to attend.
Among the city's most popular food trucks, Saucee Sicilian offers Neapolitan-style pizza and homemade meatballs and sauce. Check their full menu here.

- Video: Bites of OKC: Festival of the Arts, Lunchrox (2016-04-12)
Speaking of the Festival of the Arts, I'll be hosting a Tacolada (Spanish for Tacorama?) on April 20 at noon. I'll demonstrate some recipes and offer samples of what we'll be the best tacos served that day. The demo is under the Culinary Arts demonstration tent in the middle of the new grounds east of the Civic Center. Even a wrath of God thunderstorm and missing food processor couldn't stop me from pumping out homemade salsa last year. Come and see what acts of God and lapses in memory I have to overcome this year to make it rain tacos.
Check out the video above where Dave Morris and I talk about these events and more from the local food and drink world.
