Sarah Jessica Parker to debut first standalone boutique
Sarah Jessica Parker is opening her first standalone boutique, a chic space filled with her collection of clothing, accessories and handbags.
That’s the good news. The bad news is the boutique is in National Harbor, Md. It’s a bit of a hike for fashion fans in Oklahoma, but maybe it’ll be the first of many stores.
Grand opening for the MGMNationalHarbor resort and the boutique is Dec. 8. The store will be open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily beginning Dec. 9.
“Opening a standalone store has long been a dream we have been working towards and we feel truly privileged to be doing so with the expertise, guidance and support of our brilliant partners at MGM Resorts,” Parker said. “It's been very exciting to have been involved in all steps of the process, from on-site construction visits to the actual layout and design of our boutique. I'm honored to be included in this massive undertaking and I'm very much looking forward to celebrating in December. Because perhaps then I will believe it's real.”
The boutique will sell her recently launched SJP LBD, a new collection of little black dresses that are made in America. The dresses sell for $395, while accessories and handbags range from $30 to $695. Shoe prices start at $240.
