It's Tuesday. Exercise your right — vote!

We have an election today

The polls are open today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

What's it all about?

Get caught up on the sheriff's race by reading the following article by The Oklahoman's Nolan Clay.

The Oklahoman's William Crum explains that the OKC bond measures on Tuesday would finance civic improvements for a decade.

The authorized property tax rate — 16 mills — levied by the city of Oklahoma City will be unchanged if voters approve the package on Tuesday's ballot.

Voters also will decide two sales tax measures — to extend the 1-cent MAPS sales tax and enact a quarter-cent sales tax increase.

Look for a long ballot and make sure to vote the back and front. Polls are open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Here's his brief, but detailed, primer.

Crum wrote a longer piece for Sunday's Oklahoman.

NewsOK.com will post live updates throughout the day.
