First Glimpse of LED Crown at BOK Park Plaza Tower

Kevin Motto is among those who I follow on Twitter who are constantly providing great pictures and updates on all that is going on downtown (I can't be everywhere all the time!). Last night he provided us with photos of what I believe was the first lighting of the LED crown atop BOK Park Plaza, the new 27-story tower set to open early next year at 499 W Sheridan Ave.

I look forward to seeing how the downtown skyline will evolve with the redevelopment of First National Tower by Gary Brooks, which he has indicated will include a dramatic colorful rotation of LED lights around its beacon. The likelihood of changes in operation or ownership at Cotter Ranch Tower (originally known as Liberty Tower) will also hopefully bring some life back to what is now a dark gap in the skyline.
