IHOP now serving pancakes and clothes

IHOP is encouraging all of us to wear – or at least buy – PancakeWear, the latest item on the menu.

PancakeWear is a limited-edition clothing collection of onesies, lounge pants and socks inspired by a love of all things breakfast. The collection is available for both children and adults.

Not tempted? Not even a little? Maybe this will help. The collection is part of IHOP’s 60 Days of Giving campaign, and a portion of the proceeds from every purchase benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

IHOP contends the collection is the perfect accessory for eating pancakes or at least thinking about pancakes. Prices range from $15 for socks to $85 for an adult onesie.

"Breakfast and laid-back loungewear just go together at IHOP so we thought it would be fun to design a limited-edition merchandise collection that reflects the spirit of the brand and what we see in our restaurants all the time – people in pajamas enjoying pancakes," said Stephanie Peterson, executive director, Communications at IHOP. "PancakeWear by IHOP was launched to celebrate our 60th anniversary as a brand, but also to do a lot of good for our largest charity partner Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.”

This year, IHOP aims to raise $5 million for children's charities. It jumpstarted the campaign with the recent IHOP National Pancake Day.

PancakeWear by IHOP is available for purchase at the IHOP’s ebay store.
