Asian District to host Night Market on Saturday

The Asian District will host a night market on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Asian District will host a night market on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.


The Asian District will host its first-ever night market on Saturday, which will include a host of local food and retail vendors, and entertainment for the entire family.

The Asian Night Market starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Ground-zero is Military Park, wedged between the Super Cao Nguyen Market and Classen Boulevard. Activities include inflatables for kids, a fashion show,  martial arts demonstrations, cultural dance, a pho-eating contest and live music and entertainment on two stages from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Chef Kevin Lee of Vast and Gogi Go will be among the chefs serving food at the event.

The Asian District Cultural Association is behind the event and offers families to learn more about their neighbors and a great bite to eat. Festivities wind down at 11 p.m.
