Man critically injured Saturday in NE OKC shooting

Oklahoma City police are seeking information about a Saturday shooting that left one man critically injured.

Brandon Ramsey, 34, was shot about 1:30 a.m. as he was driving from a party at a home near NE 23 and Coltrane. He was admitted to OU Medical Center in critical condition, police reported.

A fight had broken out at the party in the 2300 block of Marilyn Avenue and shots were fired, police reported. The victim was shot in the street near the home as he was driving away from the scene.

Three cars, one police think belongs to the victim, piled up in front of a home in the 3400 block of Marilyn Avenue, and police reported finding multiple shell casings littering the street.

Witnesses described the shooter as a black man wearing a black tank top and camouflage pants, according to the police report.

Police said more than 100 people fled the scene and are asking anyone who might have video  or photos from the party to contact Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300 or, reminding the public that tips can remain anonymous and there could be cash awards.
