Tom Guild is facing Kendra Horn for the Democratic nomination in the 5th congressional district and capped his campaign off with a bizarre twist -- getting caught stealing his opponent's signs. From The Oklahoman's Justin Wingerter:

Democratic congressional candidate Tom Guild admitted Monday to removing some of his opponent's signs from an Oklahoma City intersection.

Guild had been publicly accused on Facebook of taking the campaign signs of fellow Democratic candidate Kendra Horn at the corner of Classen Boulevard and 36th Street. The accusation, made by Oklahoma City School Board member Mark Mann, came a day before Tuesday's Democratic primary.

“Sometimes, in the heat and rush of a campaign, mistakes are made," Guild said in a statement Monday afternoon. "On reflection, removing some of my opponent's signs — for any reason — was a mistake on my part for which I sincerely apologize."
