Free features -- NewsOK tools help you find stories you want to keep

I was sitting in a co-worker's office a couple weeks ago. He was talking about a story he read on NewsOK a couple days earlier.

He tried to describe the article, but then just turned to his computer and said ...

I'll just look at my 'Recently Read' page on NewsOK. I love this feature.

The Recently Read feature -- and it's sister feature, the Read It Later feature -- are two hidden gems of the NewsOK redesign.

Both features are free to use. All you need is a login for NewsOK (log-ins are free). And unlike our premium NewsOK Pro customization features, you don't have to do anything to set them. It just works.

Recently Read:

Once you create a login, your Recently Read page stores every article and photo gallery you clicked on.

It's a great way to find something you saw a day or two earlier. And it's a fun way to see what you've been interested in enough to click on in recent weeks.

It's different for everyone. It's yours. All you need is to create a log in on NewsOK.com.

Read It Later:

The Read It Later feature allows you to see something on the home page of NewsOK, be interested in the headline, but save it for reading later in the day or sometime in the future when you have more time.

Our home page -- and other section fronts like the sports pages and news pages -- scroll and scroll and scroll. If you are scrolling through the home page and are interested in it, just click the Bookmark icon. We'll store that article or photo gallery on your Read It Later page.

Think about that. You can spend 5 minutes browsing and save a bunch of articles to read during your lunch hour or later at night when you get home.
