Joshua Bingaman, a native of Oklahoman and founder of HELM footwear based in Austin, Texas, will be in Oklahoma for a three city Pop-Up Tour.

Beginning Sept. 21 at Just OK in Norman,  Bingaman will set up shop to meet and greet customers, answer questions, share information about boot care and introduce his most popular boot and shoe styles, as well as sell belts, boot care kits, tees and hats – all at 20 percent off.

The Norman stop will be from 4 to 7 p.m. for happy hour. Just OK is at 1691 Asp Ave, Suite A112.

The tour then moves to TRADE Men’s Wares, 1112 N Walker Ave Suite 102, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 22 in Oklahoma City. And, finally, it’ll land at Café Evoke, 103 S Broadway in Edmond, from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 23.

Bingaman founded the company in 2009 offering timeless yet modern boots and footwear handcrafted with quality leathers and built to last a lifetime. Men’s sizes range from size 6 to 15 with prices beginning at $295.

In 2017, the business was tweaked to become a direct to consumer e-commerce selling from its online store to customers across the U.S. The company still has its own shop in east Austin, but the tour is popping up across the country for those to experience HELM in person as well.

HELM’s quality stands out. More than 153 steps are involved in making each pair, performed by 14 master bootmakers. Years have been spent refining the process.

“A lot of creativity comes out of Oklahoma and I’m proud to be part of that,” Bingaman said. “Whether it’s a band or a brand it’s always awesome to return to your roots and share your craft with new and old friends. And since HELM is all about service and sincerity it’s really great to be able to hit the road to meet and fit people one on one – getting to know them and spreading the good word of HELM. For guys, to feel confident in their footwear can change their whole attire so we like to say HELM brings confidence from the ground up and there’s no better way to do that than in person.”
