Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold unevenly steady on light receipts. Slaughter bulls not well tested. Packer demand moderate. A total of 96 cows and bulls sold with 58 percent going to packers.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,800 lbs. Average dressing Boners and Breakers $55-$59, Lean cows $53.50-$56.50; High dressing Boners(other grades not tested) $61; Low dressing $47-$53.50. 750-1,000 lbs. Light weight cows Average dressing $51; High dressing not tested; Low dressing $47-$48.50, Very Low dressing $42-$42.50.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,300-2,250 lbs. Average dressing $83.50-$86.50; High dressing not tested; Low dressing $74.50-$78.50, Very Low dressing $65.50-$67.50. Estimated dressed cost at the Oklahoma National Stockyards: Lean cows $117.95; Boners $114.75; Breakers $109.05; Light Weight cows $113.60. Bulls $146.95.

Replacement Cows: Pre-tested for pregnancy, and age. Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 3 year old 1,200 lb. cows 7 months bred average quality black $1,010/head.

Pairs: Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 3 year old 800 lb. cows with 75 lb. calves average quality thin fleshed $1,050/pair.
