A three-year delay is over for a mixed-use development will transform the gateway to the Plaza District.

Plans were announced in 201 by the Pivot Project that they planned to build Classen 16, a 48-unit apartment complex with 3,500-square-feet of retail that would anchor the northwest corner of NW 16 and Classen.

Work was stalled as changes occurred in financing for the project. The Pivot Project team reported they were back at work on the project earlier this week with Tulsa based partner Anthology Real Estate.

The architects are Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and Cowen Construction is the contractor. The corner was cleared two years ago and previously was home to Triples Restaurant and before that Herman's Seafood.
