OPI nails its polish names

OPI is known for its wide array of colors and some of the best polish names ever.

Such as Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milkshakes, Taupe-less Beach, Kiss Me on My Tulips, Madam President, We Seafood and We Eat It and Exotic Birds Do Not Tweet.

And, of course, the well-known I’m Not Really a Waitress, described as a vivacious chianti red.

In the new Ulta mailer, co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischman explained how that name came about.

She said she was at a wedding and a server spilled a glass of red wine on her. The server’s response was “I’m so sorry, I’m not really a waitress.”

And just like that another color got a fun, memorable name.
