Benham Design changes locations
Oklahoma City's Benham Design, a subsidiary of Jacksonville, Florida-based Haskell, an architecture, engineering and design-build company, is moving from 9400 Broadway Extension, Suite 300, to newly remodeled 27,680-square-foot office space at Quail Springs Parkway Plaza, 14000 Quail Springs Parkway. Benham takes occupancy May 1.
Brokers Brent Conway and Amy Dunn with CBRE represented Benham locally, while the firm is represented nationally out of CBRE's Atlanta office. Craig Tucker with Price Edwards & Co. represented the landlord, Quail Springs Office LLC.
“Quail Springs Parkway Plaza offered Benham Class A finishes in a centralized location, making it the perfect office for their new, more efficient operations,” Conway said.
Brad Ezell, Benham senior vice president, said, "We continue to see opportunities for growth in our Oklahoma City office. “The move to a larger, well-outfitted, central space will allow us to grow and provide a great work environment for our dedicated employees.”
Assessor adds QR codes to correspondence
The Oklahoma County Assessor's Office has added Quick Response (QR) Codes to correspondence that lead users with smartphones to their account information on the assessor's Web page.
"This is a first for Oklahoma County, and we're unaware of any other assessor's office in Oklahoma providing this service,” Assessor Larry Stein said.
QR codes consist of black squares arranged in a square grid on a white background. They are read by scanning the code with a cellphone using a scanning app. The codes provide access to an estimate of market value, taxable value, comparable sales, tax savings from exemptions and other information.
