Jaci Deitrick was recently crowned Miss Mustang 2019. Emily Yannatone was runner up. Mustang’s first Outstanding Teen is Mackenzie Chandler. Her runner up is Taylor Bishop.
Deitrick was crowned by Miss Mustang 2018 Ashlin Murray. The recent pageant was the second Miss Mustang Scholarship Pageant and the first Mustang Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant under the direction of Angela Peterson of Intrust Bank and her committee: Merri Lee, Karen Stone, Ashley Peterson and Ron Peterson. Another committee member, Christy Raleigh, was unable to attend. The pageant included 11 contestants and 17 Mustang Stars. The Stars program allows girls ages 3 to 12 to participate in the evening and receive an official tiara.
Miss Mustang received a $250 scholarship, as well as a $100 gift certificate from MedicineParkAdventures.com, and gifts from Macy’s and Dillard’s. Both runners-up received $50 toward school books and fees, and gifts. The Outstanding Teen received a $200 scholarship, a $100 gift certificate from MedicineParkAdventures.com, and gifts from Dillard’s and Macy’s.
Both winners will receive training and assistance in preparation for competing in the Miss Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma Outstanding Teen pageants in June.
