Police investigate shooting death of Idabel man Friday in northeast Oklahoma City

Police have arrested a shooter and two other men in connection with the Friday night killing of an 18-year-old man in northeast Oklahoma City.

Jake McClain, of Idabel, was shot to death about 5:45 p.m. at 2700 N Lindsay, police reported.

Arrested were Jonate Jefferson, 22, of Oklahoma City, Elijah Wilson, 22, of Oklahoma City and Seth Tisho, 20, of Idabel.

Jefferson shot and killed McClain, police allege. All three were arrested on murder complaints.

Police allege McClain and Tisho drove from Idabel to Oklahoma City to conduct an illegal drug transaction. McClain was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is being investigated as the 24th homicide of the year in Oklahoma City.
