As the high school tennis season starts, here are three boys and girls from across the Oklahoma City area to keep an eye on:

Boys

James Fritts, Sr., McGuinness: An All-City honorable mention selection last year, Fritts returns at No. 1 singles looking to lead McGuinness to its first state team title since 2011.

Daniel Haley, So., Crossings Christian: As a freshman, Haley went undefeated at No. 1 singles, winning a state title in Class 4A. He looks to continue his success as a sophomore.

Brogan McLaughlin, Sr., Edmond North: McLaughlin finished third in Class 6A at No. 1 singles last season. He will look to help the Huskies win another state title.

Girls

Chloe Golightly, Sr., Edmond North: Golightly won the No. 1 doubles title last season, so her season will focus on defending the championship.

Jenna Noel, Sr., Westmoore: Noel has been consistent, finishing in the top four in Class 6A the past three seasons. After a runner-up finish last season, all that's left to win is a state title.

Annabelle Treadwell, So., Heritage Hall: Treadwell captured the Class 5A No. 2 singles title last season, knocking off the defending champion. This year, she's starting at No. 1 singles.
