Brooks & Dunn, Brandi Carlile, Kelly Clarkson and more to perform on ACM Awards
CBS and the Academy of Country Music announced today that 2019 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees Brooks & Dunn – the pairing of Louisiana native Kix Brooks and former Tulsan Ronnie Dunn – will perform at next month's ACM Awards.
Dierks Bentley, Brandi Carlile, Eric Church, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line and Ashley McBryde also have been added to the lineup of performers for the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards, according to a news release.
The ACM Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 7 on the CBS Television Network.
As previously announced, Chockie native Reba McEntire, an iconic entertainer and 16-time ACM Award winner, returns to host, and ACM Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award winner Jason Aldean will perform on the telecast.
Previously announced performers for the show also include former Tishomingo resident Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and George Strait. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
As previously reported, ACM Awards nominees with Oklahoma ties include Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Maddie & Tae.
