Cowgirls lead Hawaii tournament

Oklahoma State's women's golf team leads the Anuenue Spring Break Classic in Waikoloa, Hawaii after the first 18 holes on Thursday.

The Cowgirls lead second place Arkansas State by seven strokes after shooting a round of 13-over 301 at the Waikoloa Kings' Course.

OSU's Michelle Forsland is second among individual scorers after posting a 1-over 73, a stroke behind leader Kaylee Shimizu of Utah Valley.

Gray named finalist for All-America team

Oklahoma State's Vivian Gray on Thursday was named a region finalist for NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America team by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. The selection committee will choose the 10-member WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America team from 52 region finalists.

Gray, a sophomore, is one of eight players named from Region 3. The Argyle, Texas native averaged 20 points per game for the Cowgirls.

OKC Junior Invitational set Saturday

Nearly 170 junior rowers are expected to race on the Oklahoma River Saturday during the 2019 OKC Junior Invitational in Oklahoma City’s Boathouse District.

Eight clubs from Texas, one from Missouri and OKC RIVERSPORT crews will compete. Racing begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
