Oklahoma Scene: Energy FC loses 1st game of season

Cameron Iwasa scored three goals, and Sacramento Republic FC handed Oklahoma City Energy FC its first loss of the season with a 4-1 victory Sunday at Papa Murphy's Park in Sacramento, California.

Rafael Garcia scored in the 29th minute for Oklahoma City, which fell to 2-1 on the year. 

OU softball trounces Texas Tech

Four Oklahoma players homered, Giselle Juarez tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings and the second-ranked Sooners run-ruled No. 14 Texas Tech 13-1 in six innings to sweep the series Sunday in Lubbock, Texas.

Shay Knighten led the Sooners with four hits and a home run. Sydney Romero, Grace Green and Jocelyn Alo also homered for OU, which extended its winning streak to 19 games and improved to 29-2.

Juarez allowed just one hit in Sunday's contest, and improved to 13-0 on the year.

OSU softball beats Baylor to win series

No. 21-ranked Oklahoma State softball run-ruled Baylor 9-1 in five innings to win the series Sunday in Waco, Texas.

Rylee Bayless led the Cowgirls with three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.

OSU baseball sweeps K-State

Jake Taylor hit two solo home runs, and the Oklahoma State baseball team defeated Kansas State 8-4 to complete a series sweep Sunday in Stillwater.

OSU's Colin Simpson hit a homer and drove in two runs, and Andrew Navigato also had two RBIs.
