Man shot Thursday at west Oklahoma City truck stop, police reported
A man who told police he refused an offer to engage in prostitution early Thursday was shot in west Oklahoma City at a truck stop, police Lt. Michelle Henderson said.
The man was shot while inside a tractor-trailer parked at a truck stop at Interstate 40 and N Council Road. The man said a woman approached him and offered sex for money. When he refused, another man approached and shot him.
No one has been arrested, Henderson said. The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The shooter, described as a white man, and the woman, who was also white, left the scene in a pickup.
