Heritage Hall, Edmond North pick up victories in boys Tournament of Champions
Edmond North’s Brogan McLaughlin and Heritage Hall’s Will Kaiser are arguably the top tennis players in their respective classes.
On Friday, the two faced off for a No. 1 singles title in the boys Tournament of Champions at Heritage Hall. After breezing through their competition into the final match, it was Kaiser who came out victorious.
Kaiser’s 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 1 singles capped a sweep for Heritage Hall in singles play, as Harris Zeiders won 6-3, 6-1 against Wes Robertson from Edmond North at No. 2 singles.
Cortez Mora and Scott Stuart captured a victory for the Huskies at No. 2 doubles. The duo won the third set, 6-4.
Cascia Hall defeated Tulsa Kelley at No. 1 doubles. Edmond Memorial’s Chris Dyer finished fourth at No. 1 singles, and Caleb Fuller finished third at No. 2 singles. The Bulldogs' No. 1 doubles tandem came in fourth.
