Former Midwest City standout Keyshawn Embery-Simpson transferring to Tulsa

Keyshawn Embery-Simpson is returning to Oklahoma.

The former Midwest City standout announced Monday via Twitter his plans to transfer to Tulsa. Embery-Simpson spent his freshman season playing for Arkansas, where he averaged 4.1 points per game in 33 contests.

A 6-foot-3, 202-pound guard, Embery-Simpson left Midwest City before his senior year to attend IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He averaged 26.8 points and 5.6 rebounds his junior year as a Bomber, earning him a spot on The Oklahoman's Super 5.

Embery-Simpson held offers from Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Tulsa, Nebraska, Kansas State, among others, in high school before signing with Arkansas. He was a four-star prospect.
