Norman LB Cole Thompson commits to OSU
Norman linebacker Cole Thompson received his biggest offer yet when Oklahoma State extended a scholarship offer to him Friday.
Five days later, he committed to the Cowboys. Thompson announced Wednesday on his Twitter page that he was committing to OSU.
A 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker, Thompson held scholarship offers from Army, Eastern Michigan and Troy. As a junior, he recorded 120 tackles, including 13 for loss, for a Norman squad that went 6-5 and fell to Owasso in the first round of the Class 6A-I playoffs.
Thompson is the third Oklahoma prospect to commit to the Cowboys, joining McGuinness' Brynden Walker and Plainview's Eli Russ.
