Boots and buckles trunk shows at Western Heritage Museum
Two trunk shows highlighting boots and buckles are planned April 12-13 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
Bohlin Company, known for its custom and one-of-a-kind pieces, and world-renowned Lucchese Boots will be taking special and custom orders from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days at the Museum Store.
The Bohlin Company has been a part of Western heritage for almost a century. The company’s pieces were favored by Western stars Roy Rogers, Tom Mix and John Wayne, along with Barbara Stanwyck and Clara Bow. Actor Clayton Moore, known for his role in the television series “The Lone Ranger,” and his horse Silver were both dressed in Bohlin gear. Along with belt buckles, Bohlin also offers bolos and money clips.
Lucchese Boots will have a large selection of sample boots at the trunk show. Lucchese has a storied 130-year history. More than 100 steps go into making a custom pair of Lucchese boots.
