Video: Megan Mullally talks about her mother's death, 'Will & Grace' season finale on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'
Actress Megan Mullally, who grew up in Oklahoma City, appeared this week on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about Thursday's season finale episode of "Will & Grace," thanking DeGeneres for paving the way for the Emmy-winning show.
“Your show really laid the groundwork for ‘Will & Grace.’ I don’t know if there would have been a ‘Will & Grace’ if you’d not done that show and come out. So, thank you for that. Thank you for my career,” Mullally told the TV host.
Mullally also said she has been applying Marie Kondo's "Tidying Up" principles to her home since her mother passed away last month. As previously reported, Mullally's mother, Oklahoma City arts supporter Martha Jane Palmer Mullally, died March 4 in Oklahoma City at the age of 97.
In addition, Mullally tried to fool Ellen with possibly made-up stories in a game of "Is Megan Mull-lying?"
